Delaware

The state of Delaware is also known as “The First State.” It was the first of the thirteen original colonies to ratify the constitution, in turn, becoming the first state of what is now the United States of America.² Delaware has come a long way as a state since 1787, as some of the most in-demand jobs in the state include business analyst, software developer and registered nurse.¹

When it comes to occupational safety and health administration in Delaware, the state follows federal regulations. There is currently one federal OSHA office covering private-sector employees and workers in Delaware; it is located in Wilmington.³ Learn more about Delaware OSHA here.
